TRENTON — Commuters across New Jersey faced a series of disruptions Tuesday morning, with multiple disabled vehicles and traffic delays reported on major roadways.

As of 7:48 a.m., a disabled truck on NJ 495 eastbound just east of Kennedy Boulevard in Union City was blocking two right lanes, contributing to congestion heading toward the Lincoln Tunnel.

A separate disabled truck was reported at 7:24 a.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike Eastern Spur near Interchange 16E in Secaucus, blocking one center toll lane.

The Garden State Parkway saw multiple delay points in Woodbridge Township, with backups northbound at Exit 127 (US 9/I-287/NJ 440) and southbound at Exit 130B-A (US 1).

At the Holland Tunnel, eastbound delays resulted in a 15-minute travel time from both NJ Turnpike Exit 14C and NJ 139 at Tonnelle Circle.

Delays were also affecting the NJ Turnpike Eastern Spur eastbound exit ramp to Interchange 16E in North Bergen, with a half-mile backup stemming from earlier issues on NJ 495.

On NJ 3 westbound, delays were reported from the Garden State Parkway to just east of US 46 in Clifton. All lanes remained open.

The NJ Turnpike Eastern Spur northbound experienced a two-mile delay between Interchange 15E (US 1&9 in Newark) and Interchange 15W (I-280 in Kearny) due to high traffic volume.
