Toms River hosts movie night on Ortley Beach with ‘Surf’s Up’ screening

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Toms River’s Neighborhood Movie Night in the Park series continues tonight with a beachside showing of Surf’s Up at 7 p.m. on 3rd Avenue in Ortley Beach.

Presented by Mayor Rodrick and the Toms River Recreation Department, the film will be shown on a daylight-visible Jumbotron screen to accommodate families with young children. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs; pets are not permitted.

Kona Ice of Toms River will be on-site offering refreshments during the screening.

Families are invited to enjoy Surf’s Up under the open sky as part of Toms River’s summer movie series.
