Big money win after lottery ticket sold at Oregon gas station

OREGON, OH – A lucky customer in Lucas County struck big with a $50,000 win on an Ohio Lottery scratch-off ticket.

The prize came from a $10 “$500,000 Bankroll” ticket purchased at S&G #92 on Jerusalem Road in Oregon.

After federal and state tax withholdings, the winner will take home about $36,000.

According to the Ohio Lottery, 15 second-tier prizes of $50,000 remain in circulation for the game, along with three top prizes of $500,000. The game carries overall odds of 1 in 3.90 of winning a prize of any amount. The win adds to a growing list of high-value payouts across Ohio this summer.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery reports it has contributed more than $33 billion to education statewide.
