CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – A police chase through Prince George’s County left five patrol cars damaged Saturday evening but resulted in no injuries, authorities said.
The pursuit began shortly after 6 p.m. near Old Central Avenue and Larchmont Avenue.
According to police, the chase ended with one person taken into custody.
Investigators said officers were pursuing a wanted vehicle when the collisions occurred. The suspect struck five PGPD cruisers before being stopped. Authorities have not disclosed what the suspect was wanted for or what charges they may face. No officers or bystanders were injured in the incident.
