Albemarle County, VA – A man is fighting for his life after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash Sunday evening on Monacan Trail Road, according to the Albemarle County Police Department.
Emergency units were dispatched shortly before 5:30 p.m. to the 900 block of Monacan Trail Road, about a half mile from the interstate, where they found an adult male on the shoulder of the roadway with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to UVA Health and remains in critical condition.
