Teaneck Police Department Fly the Flags in Giants Versus Jets Football Game

East Rutherford, NJ – The Teaneck Police Department Honor Guard took center stage at MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon as they proudly presented the colors ahead of the much-anticipated preseason showdown between the New York Giants and New York Jets.

With thousands of fans in attendance, the ceremonial presentation marked a solemn and patriotic moment before kickoff. The Teaneck Police Honor Guard stood at midfield during the national anthem, representing their department with precision and formality.

As for the game, the Giants handily defeated the Jets 31–12, continuing their preseason dominance with a 2-0 record. Quarterback Jaxson Dart led the Giants’ aerial attack with 137 passing yards and a touchdown, while the Giants’ rushing corps piled on three touchdowns on the ground.

The Jets, now 1-1, struggled to generate momentum, scoring just 12 points and failing to find the end zone on the ground. Despite multiple quarterback appearances, including Adrian Martinez and Brady Cook, the Jets’ offense couldn’t overcome a surging Giants defense.
