Beltsville man shot multiple times, dead in Prince George’s County

Young man gunned down in daylight on New Hampshire Avenue

TAKOMA PARK, MD – Prince George’s County Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a 20-year-old man dead Sunday afternoon.

The victim, identified as Victor Bastardo Reyes of Beltsville, was found with gunshot wounds in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue around 12:25 p.m.

He was rushed to a hospital but died a short time later.

Detectives from the Homicide Unit are still searching for a motive and working to identify a suspect. Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment. Anyone with details is urged to contact detectives at 301-516-2512.
