Man killed in Capitol Heights e-bike hit-and-run police searching for blue Ford F-150

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – A 45-year-old man riding an e-bike was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision Friday night in Capitol Heights, and police are now asking for the public’s help to identify the driver and locate the vehicle involved.

Officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the area of Shell Street and Billings Avenue at around 8:00 p.m. on August 15. When they arrived, they found the victim, Dameian Wilson of Capitol Heights, suffering from significant trauma in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the preliminary investigation, Wilson was traveling northwest on Shell Street when he was struck by a vehicle at the intersection with Billings Avenue. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.

Detectives with the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit believe the vehicle that hit Wilson is a blue Ford F-150. The department is asking anyone who may have seen the crash or who has information about the vehicle or driver to come forward.
