Two $9,618 winning Take 5 tickets sold in Newburgh and Staten Island

NEW YORK, NY – Two lucky New Yorkers each scored a $9,618 payday after winning top prizes in the August 15 Take 5 Midday drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning tickets were sold at two separate locations across the state. One was purchased at Smokes 4 Less located at 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh, and the other at Apple Department Store II at 112 Canal Street on Staten Island.

The Take 5 game draws numbers twice daily from a field of 1 through 39 — once at 2:30 p.m. and again at 10:30 p.m. The $9,618 prize is the top payout for matching all five numbers in the midday drawing.
