Small dog found near Riverside Place as North Bergen police search for owner

NORTH BERGEN, NJ – A well-groomed male dog without a collar or tags was found wandering near Riverside Place Monday evening, and police are now trying to locate his owner.

The North Bergen Police Department said the small pup appears to be in good health and well cared for, but there were no identifying tags or microchip information available at the time he was found. Officers are caring for the dog while awaiting contact from the owner or anyone who recognizes him.

The department shared a photo of the dog on social media and said they are hopeful the animal will be reunited with his family soon.
