Victim survives multiple gunshots on South Conkling Street
BALTIMORE, MD – A 42-year-old man is recovering after being shot multiple times early Saturday morning in the Southeast District before driving himself to a hospital for treatment.
Police said officers were called around 3:28 a.m. on August 16 to the 200 block of South Conkling Street for reports of gunfire. Shortly afterward, they were notified that a shooting victim had walked into a local hospital.
Officers arrived and spoke with the victim, who had been shot in the leg and back. He was listed in stable condition.
The man told investigators he had been in the 200 block of South Conkling Street when an unidentified suspect shot him. He managed to drive himself to the hospital afterward.
