Baltimore man arrested for August 1 burglary in Northwest District

Baltimore, MD – A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a burglary that took place earlier this month in Baltimore’s Northwest District, police announced Tuesday.

Izaak Franklin of Baltimore was taken into custody on Monday in the 400 block of East Preston Street. He is accused of breaking into a property on August 1 in the 5700 block of Pimlico Road.

After locating Franklin, officers transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility. He has been charged with first-degree burglary and theft in connection with the incident.

Investigators have not released further details about the items stolen or the nature of the break-in.
