TOMS RIVER, NJ – With a crowd on their feet and fireworks lighting the sky, The Benjamins brought Shelter Cove to life Monday night during the latest installment of Toms River’s Summer Concert Series. The free concert is open to the public, with attendees encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and arrive early for beachside seating.
The beach concert will take place on August 24 at Ortley Beach, with music kicking off at 7 p.m.. No parking is permitted on Bay Avenue, and the event is strictly alcohol, pet, and smoke free. Weather-related updates will be posted by noon Sunday on the township’s official Facebook page.
Sunday’s show concludes a packed summer music series organized by Mayor Dan Rodrick and Toms River Recreation, which has featured free live performances every Tuesday and Sunday at parks and beaches across town.
