Graffiti vandals caught on camera tagging Gloucester Township parks and businesses

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two suspects are on the radar of Gloucester Township Police after being caught on surveillance video spray-painting graffiti at multiple locations along Chews Landing Road — including the town’s Veterans Park gazebo.

Between August 15 and 18, patrol officers discovered identical “tagging” graffiti at five separate locations: Veterans Park, Camden County Dog Park, ShopRite, Prate Family Eye Care, and the clothing donation bins at Food Plus. The recurring markings indicate a coordinated spree of vandalism across public and private properties.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage and identified a key incident at Veterans Park from August 3 at approximately 8:45 PM, where one suspect is seen drawing graffiti under the park’s gazebo while the other acted as a lookout. Both individuals were later observed walking toward the nearby ShopRite.

The suspects have not been publicly identified, but police released video footage and still images in hopes the public can help recognize them. The investigation is being led by Gloucester Township Police Crime Stoppers, who are requesting tips via phone or anonymous web submission.

No arrests have been made. Authorities emphasized that the defacement of a memorial park honoring veterans has elevated the urgency of the case.
