Teen dies after shooting on Park Heights Avenue in North Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — An 18-year-old male was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon on Park Heights Avenue, prompting a homicide investigation in Baltimore’s Northern District.

Officers on patrol in the area reported hearing gunfire around 5:13 p.m. and rushed to the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue, where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, but despite medical efforts, he was later pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released, and no suspects or motives have been disclosed. Detectives from the Baltimore Police Homicide Unit are investigating the case.
