Gunfire on Washington Boulevard leaves man hospitalized as detectives search for answers

BALTIMORE, MD — A 37-year-old man was rushed to a hospital after being shot in the leg Thursday evening on Washington Boulevard, police said.

Officers responded around 7:24 p.m. to the 1800 block of Washington Boulevard, where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.

Southern District shooting detectives have taken over the investigation. Police have not released details about a suspect or motive at this time.
