Robbery reported on Connecticut Avenue NW as police search for suspects in red sedan
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred early Friday morning in the 1200 block of Connecticut Avenue NW, with three suspects seen fleeing the scene in a red sedan.
The incident was reported around 7:16 a.m. by the Metropolitan Police Department’s 2nd District. Investigators said the suspects are described as three Hispanic males. Two of the men, both about 5’8” and 150 pounds, were last seen wearing all black clothing and black masks. A third suspect has not yet been fully described.
The trio fled in a red sedan following the robbery. Details about what was taken or whether anyone was injured have not yet been released.
