TRENTON, NJ – A two-month investigation into cocaine trafficking in Trenton has ended with three arrests, the seizure of $30,000 worth of narcotics, and the recovery of a loaded handgun, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey announced Thursday.
At approximately 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, detectives with the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force (MCNTF), assisted by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, executed a search warrant at a home on Taylor Street. Inside, they found 200 grams of suspected cocaine, 100 grams of methamphetamine, drug packaging materials, a digital scale, and a Canik TP9 handgun with an extended-capacity magazine.
The search led to the arrest of Okeeno Fagan, 36, Alecia Fagan, 34, and Anevia Boswell, 31. All three individuals were taken into custody without incident.
Okeeno and Alecia Fagan face first-degree narcotics and weapons charges. The prosecutor’s office has filed motions to detain both pending trial. Boswell was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and released pending a future court date.
Authorities estimate the cocaine’s street value at $20,000 and the methamphetamine at $10,000.
The investigation was led by MCNTF with support from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the Mercer County Tactical Response Team, Ewing, Hamilton and Trenton police, as well as federal agents from the DEA and FBI – New Jersey Division.
