New Jersey bowling phenom wins 4 golds at PANAM Youth Championships

Jackson, NJ – A local teen from Jackson has struck gold — four times — on the international stage. Brandon Bohn, 21, delivered a historic performance at the 2025 PANAM Youth Bowling Championships in Guatemala, claiming four gold medals while representing Junior Team USA.

Competing against elite youth bowlers from across North and South America, Bohn stood out for his precision, consistency, and composure, earning top honors in multiple categories. His remarkable showing helped propel Team USA to the top of the leaderboard and firmly cemented his place as one of the top youth bowlers in the world.

“This was one of the greatest experiences of my life,” said Bohn. “To represent Team USA and hear our National Anthem while standing on the podium four times was something I’ll never forget.”

Held annually, the PANAM Youth Championships are among the most prestigious tournaments in youth bowling, drawing the best competitors from across the Americas. For Bohn, this year’s event marked the final chapter in his Junior Team USA career, a journey he referenced earlier this year as “One Last Ride” on social media.

With his youth eligibility set to expire at the end of the calendar year, Bohn went out on a near-perfect note, adding four more gold medals to an already decorated résumé. His dominant run has drawn comparisons to Olympic legend Michael Phelps — only this time, it’s on the lanes, not in the pool.

Bohn’s success has also put a spotlight on his hometown of Jackson, where supporters say his accomplishments serve as inspiration for young athletes across the region. As he prepares to transition beyond the youth ranks, many are watching to see what’s next for one of the brightest stars in American bowling.
