Beyond diplomacy, the president kept a packed schedule in Washington. He called into Fox & Friends and The Todd Starnes Show for interviews and officially signed into law the Maintaining American Superiority by Improving Export Control Transparency Act, a bill aimed at modernizing export oversight.
Trump also paid an unannounced visit to the People’s House gift shop across from the White House, surprising staff and visitors. Later, he welcomed FIFA President Gianni Infantino to the Oval Office, where he was presented with the ceremonial first ticket to the 2026 World Cup Final, to be hosted by the United States.
Vice President J.D. Vance toured Union Station alongside senior White House officials, assessing anti-crime initiatives and meeting with members of the National Guard. He joined them for a meal in a show of appreciation for their ongoing efforts. Vance also traveled to Peachtree City, Georgia, to visit ALTA Refrigeration Inc. and promote the administration’s economic policy dubbed “One Big Beautiful Bill.” He sat down with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham for a one-on-one interview during the visit.
Meanwhile, First Lady Melania Trump sent a personal peace letter to President Putin, which President Trump reportedly hand-delivered during his stop in Alaska en route to the White House. Her office also welcomed the newest members of the Presidential Turkey Flock, two of which are set to be pardoned during the Thanksgiving tradition later this year.
