25-year-old man killed and teen injured in Oxon Hill shooting

Oxon Hill, MD – A 25-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in a broad-daylight shooting on Indian Head Highway that also left a teenager injured and a third man with minor wounds, according to Prince George’s County Police.

The victim, identified as Nathaniel Stephon Grier of New Carrollton, was found suffering from a gunshot wound outside in the 4900 block of Indian Head Highway just after 2:00 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A teenage male was also struck by gunfire but is expected to survive, police said. A third victim, an adult male, sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Homicide Unit detectives are actively investigating the fatal shooting and are working to determine a motive and identify those responsible. No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly named.

The department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
