$400K winning Cash 5 ticket sold at Donut Connection in Allegheny County
PITTSBURGH, PA — One lucky lottery player is holding a ticket worth $400,000 after matching all five numbers in Friday night’s Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, with the jackpot-winning ticket sold at a Donut Connection in Pittsburgh, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday.
The ticket matched all five numbers drawn — 4, 9, 11, 14, and 22 — to win the full jackpot amount, less applicable withholding. It was purchased at Donut Connection located at 2414 Brownsville Road in Allegheny County. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners are not identified until they officially claim their prize and the ticket is validated. The winner has up to one year from the drawing date to claim the main Cash 5 prize, and any instant-win Quick Cash prizes must be claimed within a year of purchase.
In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 15,000 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash players across Pennsylvania also won prizes from the same drawing.
Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets cost $2 and include a set of numbers for the nightly drawing plus a separate Quick Cash game, which offers an instant chance to win $2 or $6. To win the Cash 5 jackpot, players must match all five numbers drawn from a field of 1 through 43.
