BURNT HILLS, NY — A small-town convenience store turned into a big-time jackpot stop after a lucky player purchased a TAKE 5 ticket worth $32,609 in Saturday night’s drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at Stewart’s Shops, located at 810 Route 50 in Burnt Hills, where one customer correctly matched all five numbers in the August 23 TAKE 5 Evening drawing to claim the top prize. The win marks another upstate payout in the state’s long-running daily draw game.

TAKE 5 numbers are selected from a field of 1 through 39, with two drawings each day at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday night’s winning ticket came from the 10:30 p.m. drawing.
