TOMS RIVER, NJ – Silverton is set to roar to life on Saturday, October 4, as the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company hosts its action-packed Annual Fall Festival, complete with a countywide Motorcycle and Classic Car Poker Run, a 5K and Fun Run, and a full day of community festivities from morning through evening.
The day begins with a high-octane 80 to 100-mile Motorcycle and Classic Car Poker Run, where riders and drivers will cruise through scenic Ocean County collecting cards along the route. Registration for the Poker Run will be held between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Silverton Fire House, located at 15 Kettle Creek Road. Entry fees are $25 per participant, $15 for an additional passenger, and $25 for classic car or hot rod entries. Prizes will be awarded for the three best poker hands.

Simultaneously, runners and walkers can take part in the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company’s 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run in proud partnership with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Race check-in kicks off bright and early at 8:00 a.m., with the Fun Run starting at 9:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 10:00 a.m. Registration is open at raceforum.com/silverton5k.
Beginning at 11:00 a.m., the Annual Fall Festival opens to the public and continues through 6:00 p.m., promising something for every age. The festival will feature live music from The Phil Engel Band, inflatable children’s rides, craft and community vendors, fire equipment and safety demonstrations, police K-9 and motorcycle unit demos, and more.
Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase throughout the day. Organizers are still accepting vendors and sponsors for the event and encourage local businesses and organizations to get involved.
