Middlesex County names Fugitive of the Month for August

Middlesex County officials say a Somerset man wanted on theft-related charges is now their Fugitive of the Month

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Prosecutors in Middlesex County have identified 28-year-old Yilbe Cuello-Alcantara as their Fugitive of the Month for August, saying he is wanted on multiple charges including conspiracy, fencing, and resisting arrest.

Officials said Cuello-Alcantara, of Somerset, failed to appear in court on charges tied to second-degree conspiracy to receive stolen property, two counts of second-degree fencing, and second-degree resisting arrest. All of the offenses occurred in Middlesex County, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Cuello-Alcantara’s last known address was on Kee Avenue in Somerset. He is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, with a date of birth of July 8, 1997.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit at 732-745-4017 or text a tip to 274637 with the message “MIDTIP” followed by the information. Tips can also be submitted to Middlesex County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-939-9600. All tips will remain anonymous.
