$400K Cash 5 jackpot ticket sold at Pittsburgh donut shop
Pittsburgh, PA – One lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth $400,000 after hitting all five numbers in Friday’s drawing, and the winning ticket was sold at none other than a local donut shop.
The winning numbers drawn on August 22 were 4, 9, 11, 14, and 22. The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Donut Connection, located at 2414 Brownsville Road in Pittsburgh’s Allegheny County. As a bonus, the retailer will receive $500 for selling the ticket.
The ticket matched all five numbers in the Cash 5 main drawing to win the full jackpot, which is subject to applicable withholding. It has not yet been claimed, and lottery officials will not identify the winner until the ticket is validated.
In addition to the jackpot prize, more than 15,000 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won smaller amounts in the same drawing. Lower-tier prizes can be claimed at any authorized retailer, but jackpot winners must contact the Pennsylvania Lottery directly.
Players have one year from the draw date to claim their Cash 5 jackpot. Quick Cash prizes must also be claimed within a year of the ticket’s purchase date.
