Joseph Johnson still missing after disappearing in Whiting
Whiting, NJ – The search for 15-year-old Joseph Johnson entered its fourth day Wednesday, as officials confirmed the teen remains missing despite false claims circulating online that he had been found.
Joseph was last seen around 1 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Laurel Place in Whiting, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, white and blue sneakers, and carrying a black backpack. Investigators believe he may have traveled on foot to nearby Toms River, but his current whereabouts remain unknown.
The Manchester Township Police Department reiterated Wednesday that no official confirmation has been made regarding Joseph’s recovery and warned the public against spreading misinformation. They emphasized that verified updates will come exclusively from their official channels.

Authorities say numerous investigative steps have already been taken in the effort to find Joseph, though no sightings have been confirmed as of yet. Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
