Prince George’s County police release video in unsolved 2023 homicide of Chuck Jenkins
OXON HILL, MD — Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect captured on video in connection with the 2023 killing of 33-year-old Chuck Deonte Jenkins, who was found dead along Indian Head Highway.
The case dates back to August 27, 2023, when officers were dispatched around 3:30 a.m. for a welfare check in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway. Jenkins, who had no fixed address, was discovered outside suffering from trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Surveillance video shows a suspect walking toward the location of the murder. Investigators have not yet identified a motive in the killing.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
