Woman known as ‘Candy’ sought after stabbing on H Street NE in DC
WASHINGTON, DC – A woman known by the name “Candy” is being sought by police after a stabbing incident in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon on H Street NE, prompting a citywide lookout.
The stabbing occurred around 3 p.m. in the 700 block of H Street NE, within DC’s First District. The suspect, described as a Black female with a brown complexion, approximately 50 years old, was last seen fleeing eastbound on foot.
She was wearing a blue dress, white shoes, a hat, and carrying a dark-colored purse. Witnesses told officers that she is known in the area by the name “Candy.”
