Two New York City Cops Arrested in Domestic Dispute Incident on Staten Island

Staten Island, NY – Early this morning, two New York City cops were arrested for a domestic dispute incident on Staten Island.

Thomas Donaldson, 40, was arrested at 3:21 a.m.,while off duty. Authorities did not release further details about the incident leading to the charge, and no injuries were reported.

A 36-year-old off-duty NYPD officer was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning in Staten Island and charged with assault, police confirmed.

Tiffany Angilletta, an active-duty police officer with the NYPD, was also taken into custody at 3:21 a.m. The department has not released details regarding the circumstances leading to the charge or the nature of the relationship between the two officers.

The arrest occurred while Angilletta was off duty. The NYPD has not disclosed her current assignment or how long she has served on the force.

As per department policy, the Internal Affairs Bureau is expected to launch an investigation into the incident. Disciplinary action, including modification of duty status, may follow depending on the outcome of both the criminal case and the internal review.

No injuries or additional arrests have been reported in connection to this incident.

Donaldson is currently assigned to the NYPD but his current command has not been disclosed. It remains unclear whether the alleged offense involved property damage, a domestic situation, or other circumstances, as the department has not commented publicly on the arrest.
