DC man arrested in connection with burglary at Northwest business
Washington, DC – A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary at a Northwest business earlier this month, police announced Tuesday.
On August 20, officers from the Third District Crime Suppression Team arrested Kenneth Burley of Northeast DC on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear in DC Superior Court. During the investigation, detectives also linked him to a break-in on August 13 in the 2400 block of 18th Street NW.07
According to investigators, Burley forced his way into a store around 2:26 a.m., stole property, and fled the scene. He has since been charged with Burglary Two in addition to the court warrant.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the case remains under active investigation.
