Chesapeake, VA – One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Chesapeake, police said.

The collision occurred around 7:27 a.m. on South George Washington Highway near Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. Responding officers and fire crews found one driver dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
