BRONX, NY — A masked suspect is being sought in connection with a string of five armed robberies targeting Bronx businesses this month, with victims held at gunpoint and thousands in cash and property stolen across multiple precincts.

Two days later, on Wednesday, August 6, another incident occurred nearby at 1882 Crotona Avenue at approximately 10:00 a.m. This time, the suspect allegedly made off with an entire cash register containing $903 in cash. The register itself was valued at $250. As in the first robbery, the gunman displayed a black handgun and escaped on foot.
A third robbery occurred one week later, on Wednesday, August 13, just before 10:30 p.m., at 760 East Tremont Avenue. A 26-year-old employee complied with demands and placed $200 into a black bag as instructed. The suspect then fled northbound on Crotona Avenue.
