Stafford County Sheriff seeks help identifying woman in counterfeit bill fraud case
STAFFORD, VA — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman accused of using a counterfeit $100 bill at a restaurant in Stafford.
According to the Crime Analysis Unit, the incident took place on Thursday, August 28 at approximately 3:10 p.m. at America’s Best Wings, located at 15 S Gateway Drive. The woman allegedly ordered $18.98 worth of food and paid using what investigators later determined was a fake $100 bill.
The female suspect is described as Hispanic, in her late twenties, with long black hair. She was seen wearing a fitted brown outfit and appears to have a tattoo covering her right hand.

Surveillance images show the woman inside the restaurant and standing near another individual. Authorities did not confirm whether the second person is connected to the case.
