Pleasant Hills, PA – A father and his adult son were found dead inside their home Friday morning following a shooting that prompted a tactical police response in Allegheny County, according to investigators.

County 9-1-1 dispatchers received a call at 7:21 a.m. reporting a shooting in the 400 block of Nantucket Drive. When first responders arrived, they were met with silence at the residence. The South Hills Area Council of Governments Critical Incident Response Team (SHACOG CIRT) was called in to make a tactical entry.

By approximately 9:21 a.m., officers entered the home and discovered two men deceased inside, each with a single gunshot wound. Police have confirmed the victims were a father and his adult son.
