Man gunned down in broad daylight on W. Garrison Avenue in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, MD – A man was fatally shot in the middle of the afternoon Friday on a busy West Baltimore street, triggering a homicide investigation as detectives search for answers.
Around 3:15 p.m., officers from the Northern District were called to the 3000 block of W. Garrison Avenue after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found an unidentified male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives took over the case and are working to identify both the victim and any suspects involved in the shooting. No arrests have been announced, and police have not released any potential motive or suspect description.
The investigation remains active as officials seek witnesses and evidence to piece together what led to the deadly gunfire in the residential block.
