Mom charged with child endangerment, assault and weapons offense held at Ocean County

Toms River, NJ – A 34-year-old Ocean County woman is being held without bail after her arrest on multiple charges, including child endangerment, aggravated assault, and weapons possession, according to jail records.

Yarilian Maries Cruz was booked into the Ocean County Jail on Sept. 1 and is facing three felony counts stemming from a recent case. Court records list the charges as endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.

Cruz, who is listed as single and a resident of Ocean County, was committed to custody with no bail option. Records show the case remains open, and no projected release date has been set.
