Philadelphia, PA – A 14-year-old boy was wounded Monday afternoon after gunfire erupted on a Northeast Philadelphia block, police said.
Officers responded around 3:08 p.m. to reports of a shooting on the 6500 block of Hegerman Street in the city’s 15th District. The teen later arrived at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to his right leg.
He was reported to be in stable condition as of Monday evening.
No arrests have been made, and investigators have not determined a motive. The case is being handled by the Philadelphia Police Shooting Investigation Group.
