Fairview store sells $1 million scratch-off winner as New Jersey Lottery players cash big across four counties

TRENTON, NJ – A Bergen County lottery player is celebrating a $1 million windfall after purchasing a top-prize ticket in the $1,000,000 Ultimate Spectacular Scratch-Off game, the New Jersey Lottery announced Tuesday.

The winning $30 ticket was sold August 29 at Anderson Mini Market, 95 Anderson Avenue in Fairview. Six of the nine $1 million top prizes remain in play.

It was not the only major prize of the week. On August 25, a Monmouth County player hit the first of three available $600,000 top prizes in the $30 Crossword Xtreme game. That ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #11019, 50 Schank Road in Freehold.

Just days later on August 29, another $250,000 prize was won in Passaic County on the $20 Quarter Million Cash ticket — only one day after the game’s launch. The ticket was sold at Home Wine & Liquors, 593 Main Avenue in Passaic. The game still has eight of its nine top prizes remaining and 48 secondary prizes worth $5,000.
