Middlesex County shopper wins $150K Jersey Cash 5 jackpot at Stop & Shop

Edison, NJ – A lucky Middlesex County resident is celebrating a $150,000 payday after matching all five numbers in Tuesday night’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Stop & Shop located at 100 Menlo Park Drive in Edison. The numbers drawn were 01, 04, 05, 23, and 42. The XTRA number was 03, and the Bullseye was 01. This marks the 47th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot won in New Jersey this year and the second consecutive night with a top-prize winner.

As a reward for selling the winning ticket, the Edison Stop & Shop will receive a $2,000 retailer bonus.

Alongside the jackpot winner, 26 players matched four out of five numbers plus the Bullseye, each claiming $500. Of those, nine also matched the XTRA number, doubling their winnings to $1,000. Another player matched four out of five numbers and the XTRA, winning $500.

The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot resets to $150,000 for the next drawing.
