Pikesville gas station sells $1 million Powerball ticket

Pikesville, MD – A Powerball player in Baltimore County is waking up a millionaire after matching five numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing, lottery officials confirmed.

The $1 million second-tier ticket was sold at Slade BP Gas Station, located at 524 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville. The ticket matched all five white balls but not the red Powerball, earning the player a seven-figure prize.

The winning numbers for the September 3 drawing were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69, with the Powerball number 22. The retailer will also receive a $2,500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Although no jackpot winner was drawn, the Powerball grand prize has climbed to $1.7 billion for Saturday’s drawing—the third-largest jackpot in the game’s history. The cash option is estimated at $770.3 million.
