Middlesex County lottery player wins $150K Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in Edison
Edison, NJ – A Middlesex County resident struck it big Tuesday night, matching all five numbers in the Jersey Cash 5 drawing to claim a $150,000 jackpot, lottery officials confirmed.
The winning ticket was sold at the Stop & Shop on 100 Menlo Park Drive in Edison, which will also receive a $2,000 retailer bonus. The winning numbers were 01, 04, 05, 23, and 42. The XTRA was 03 and the Bullseye was 01.
This marks the 47th Jersey Cash 5 jackpot awarded this year and the second in as many nights.
Alongside the jackpot, 26 players matched four out of five numbers plus the Bullseye, each winning $500. Nine of those players also hit the XTRA, doubling their winnings to $1,000. Another player matched four out of five numbers and the XTRA for a $500 prize.
The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has reset to $150,000 for tonight’s drawing.
