According to officials, the drills will run nightly between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. at and around the Ericsson site off Hoes Lane. The exercises include aircraft operations, training ammunition, and explosives, prompting warnings about elevated noise levels in the area.
The Piscataway Township Police Department reminded the public on social media Thursday that the activity is part of scheduled training and not an emergency. The drills are expected to conclude by the end of the week.
