Ohio lottery players win $100K Powerball prizes in Toledo and Englewood
Cleveland, OH – Two Ohio Lottery players are celebrating $100,000 wins after Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, officials confirmed.
The tickets each matched four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball, securing $50,000 prizes that doubled to $100,000 thanks to the Power Play multiplier.
The winning tickets were purchased at:
- Kroger #957, 4533 Monroe Street in Toledo (manual-pick ticket)
- Meijer #106, 9200 North Main Street in Englewood (auto-pick ticket)
The winning numbers for the September 3 drawing were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69, with the Powerball number 22. The Power Play was 2.
In addition to the $100,000 wins, Ohio also produced a $1 million ticket sold at Sheetz in Canfield and a Lucky for Life prize worth $25,000 a year for life sold in Toledo.
The Powerball jackpot has now climbed to an estimated $1.7 billion for the Saturday, September 6 drawing, with a cash option of $770.3 million.
The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education since 1974.
