ASBURY PARK, NJ – Rock legend Stevie Van Zandt will present Darlene Love with the Lifetime Achievement in Music Award at Monmouth Arts’ POP! A Night at the Lanes fundraiser on Thursday, October 23, at the Asbury Lanes.

Love, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award-winning vocalist, has been celebrated as one of Rolling Stone’s “greatest singers of all time.” Her decades-long career includes iconic hits, annual holiday performances of Christmas (Baby Please Come Home), and a longstanding creative partnership with Van Zandt.

Van Zandt has produced and written several of Love’s standout works, including the 2015 album Introducing Darlene Love, the holiday single All Alone on Christmas for the Home Alone 2 soundtrack, and The Spirit of Christmas for Netflix’s The Christmas Chronicles 2.

Beyond his collaborations with Love, Van Zandt is recognized as a founding member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, a driving force behind the “Jersey Shore” sound with the Asbury Jukes, and a celebrated actor, known for his role as Silvio Dante on HBO’s The Sopranos.

The event will also feature remarks from musician Tim McLoone, who has performed alongside Love on numerous occasions. Other honorees include Eileen Chapman, director of the Bruce Springsteen Archives; singer-songwriter and actor Val Emmich; contemporary artist Knowledge Bennett; and the law firm Ansell Grimm & Aaron, P.C.
