23-Year-Old Shot Numerous Times Dead In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A 23-year-old man was fatally shot multiple times early this morning in Southern Baltimore.

Officers from the Baltimore Police Department rushed to the 1100 block of South Charles Street at around 12:14 a.m. following reports of a shooting.

Officers found the victim gravely injured from several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma. However, despite all life-saving efforts, the young man was pronounced dead.

Preliminary findings suggest that a verbal altercation might have escalated, leading to this fatal event. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
