Baltimore man killed in daylight shooting on North Arlington Avenue

Baltimore, MD – A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in West Baltimore after police were alerted by gunfire-detection technology.

Officers responded around 3:09 p.m. to the 1000 block of North Arlington Avenue, where they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released as detectives with the Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide Unit continue their investigation.
