ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County Major Crimes Unit are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman on South Bellevue Avenue on Sunday.
According to police, at approximately 1:09 a.m., the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a 911 call in reference to a shooting on the unit block South Bellevue Avenue.
“Officers located a female gunshot victim. The female was subsequently pronounced deceased. The female was identified as 26-year-old Malikah McLaughlin of Atlantic City, NJ. This remains an active investigation,” police said in a statement.
