28-year-old man shot near Inner Harbor

BALTIMORE, MD – A 28-year-old man was discovered wounded Sunday night on Light Street after a citizen spotted him in distress and flagged down police for help.

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on March 30, Central District officers responded to the 500 block of Light Street for a report of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, a woman informed officers she had seen the man while driving through the area.

The victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.

Central District detectives took over the investigation, but details regarding the circumstances or location of the shooting remain unclear.

No suspect information has been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
