Baltimore man hospitalized after being shot multiple times in leg
BALTIMORE, MD — A 29-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times in the leg during a shooting in East Baltimore Wednesday evening, prompting an ongoing investigation by city detectives.
At approximately 6:18 p.m. on October 15, officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 3400 block of Belair Road. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the leg. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Detectives from the Eastern District Shooting Unit responded to the scene and have assumed control of the investigation. No suspect information has been released, and the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
